Why heat and cold work
The heat
Sustained sauna heat raises core temperature, dilates blood vessels, and triggers a cascade of responses that ease muscle tension, improve circulation, and prompt the body to release endorphins. Fifteen to twenty minutes is enough to feel a shift.
